Wherever you save, Downabit puts the files in a folder called Downabit: in the TV's Download folder, on the USB drive, inside the shared folder or WebDAV server you pick, or at the top of your Google Drive or Dropbox. Nothing is stored anywhere else, and nothing is sent to us.
Every place you connect is set up in Settings › Cloud & network on the TV, and it then appears in the Save to list when you pick a file.
